Melrose Makes

Melrose Makes began in 2021 with a simple mission: ensuring every local child experiences the joy of Christmas. Founded by Mandi Rokx after witnessing the need for holiday support in our community, what started as a single angel tree serving 150 children has blossomed into something much greater.

Today, Melrose Makes operates multiple angel trees throughout the area, bringing Christmas magic to over 350 children and their families. Our growth reflects the incredible generosity of our community and the dedication of volunteers who believe every child deserves to feel special during the holidays.

One of our signature fundraising events, the Witch Paddle, helps us raise essential funds to purchase presents for families in need while also supporting our local fire department and funding a scholarship at Melrose Music. This event exemplifies our commitment to strengthening the entire community.

Looking ahead, our vision extends beyond Christmas gifts. We're passionate about growing our impact and finding new ways to help community members flourish year-round. Through continued partnership with local families, organizations, and volunteers, Melrose Makes is building a foundation for lasting positive change in our community.
